PLACE:  Spruce Goose Farm, Chesterfield, NJ

Please join hosts John & Karyn Benton of Spruce Goose Farm for the official 2017 Christmas Tree Cutting Ceremony with Secretary of Agriculture,  Doug Fisher. This annual event signals the traditional opening of Christmas Tree Farms across our state.

Last years’ ceremony was hosted by the Alpaugh family at Evergreen Valley Christmas Tree Farm in Washington.

Christmas Tree Farm Tips

— Most farms are only open daytime hours.

— Tagging (reserving trees) is permitted on some farms.

— NO AXES or CHAINSAWS ARE ALLOWED.

— Most farms open daily seven days/week unless otherwise indicated.

— Telephone the farm for certainty that trees are still available or to ask any other questions that might make your visit more enjoyable.
