The Spring 2021 Edition of NJCTGA News is now available!

Spring is finally here  and with it comes signs of hope and normalcy.  In this edition, you’ll find a guide to how to prepare your Christmas Tree Scouting Plan, including IPM or Integrated Pest Management from the good folks at the Michigan State University Extension.   Our Twilight Meeting on Thursday, June 17th will be hosted by Tim & Mim Dunn of Woodsedge Tree Farm – no registration is necessary!  And the Annual Summer Meeting has been set for September 25th, 2021 so be sure to save the date! Inside your also find the latest news from the Christmas Tree Promotion Board, including results from their Annual Seedling and Transplant Supplier Survey.

Christmas Tree Farm Tips

— Most farms are only open daytime hours.

— Tagging (reserving trees) is permitted on some farms.

— NO AXES or CHAINSAWS ARE ALLOWED.

— Most farms open daily seven days/week unless otherwise indicated.

— Telephone the farm for certainty that trees are still available or to ask any other questions that might make your visit more enjoyable.
